Welcome to St. Mary's

Welcome to St. Mary's Catholic Church.  We are the flagship of the Catholic Community in Independence County and in Batesville, Arkansas.  We serve the college students of Lyon College with our Catholic Campus Ministry.  St. Mary's also attends St. Cecilia's Church in Newport, Arkansas (Jackson County) and St. Anthony's Church in Weiner, Arkansas (Poinsett County).  Our pastor is Rev. Dhanraj Narla who began his pastorate here on December 2012.  We also have a permanent deacon, Mike Cumnock.  We hope you will feel welcome to our community and to our Church.

HEAVENLY HAMBURGER - FAIR BOOTH REPORT

Congratulations to all who participated in the booth in any manner . The "sinfully delicious" hamburgers are well known and with the booth's cleanliness, smiling waiters and terrific food, we continue to be a fair tradition that we can be proud of.  Not only can we be proud of our great food, but of all the records that were broken by this year's fair booth.

1)  Number of persons who signed up to work, both from the English Mass and from the Hispanic Mass

2)  Number of youth who helped

3)  Net receipts/net profit - Gross receipts $13,392 with a net profit of $7,672

Thanks again to all you who made this year's fair booth an overwhelming success.
